Few bands can combine instrumental prowess with ambient harshness, a taste for sonic experimentation with paroxysmal aggression. No Vale Nada has mastered this art and unapologetically showcases it on Quidam. This third album, once again conceived under the guidance of GOAT Amaury Sauvé at The Apiary Studio (Birds In Row, Plebeian Grandstand, Point Mort...), ends a seven-year recording silence following Alter Ego. Now a quartet with the addition of a second guitar, this standard-bearer of the chaotic hardcore scene from eastern France deliver their most radical work yet. The kind of which you'd better buckle up before pressing play. Dantean in scale, it nonetheless paints a somber picture of humanity sinking into its worst horrors. As long as it's still worth it.
